Pauper, by David Salle
Here is a 1984 David Salle. I chose it because of the little duck, I just got four baby chickens, and this seemed fitting to me. What is the duck about in the Salle painting? I found an interesting interview along with this image. It's graphic for sure, but enlightening too.
I've been thinking about trying to paint the little chicks, next to some peaches I picked, but they don't sit still. Maybe, Like Salle, I need to set some scenes and take some pictures. But first I have to find a good crotch shot. hmmmm.
The easiest way to get crotch shots is to work for a porno magazine as he did.
